Asher has been a bodywork practitioner since 2021, having graduated from Mind Body Institute massage school here in Madison, TN. Before that they worked as a strength and conditioning coach, and uses that prior knowledge to better understand when a person comes in with an injury or nagging issue, athletic or just from everyday life. Asher has also worked in community mental health and believes that everyone deserves to find a safe place inside of their own body. They are part of the queer and transgender community and feel most called to help folks in that community access safe and therapeutic bodywork, and employs trauma-informed bodywork practices in doing so.
The modalities they provide most are Ashiatsu, myofascial release, cupping, and assisted stretching.
mission:
You know best what it feels like inside of your body. What I bring is the technical knowledge of how your tissues work together, and how working on them in specific ways can release tension. My intention is to bring a grounded presence to each session and use my training to guide me. In conjunction with your inner knowledge I aim to help you find more stillness and peace inside of your body (and for that spot between your shoulder blades to chill out, if applicable)..
