Prenatal
is massage for ALL STAGES of pregnancy to release tension and ease your mind and body on your amazing journey. In your prenatal massage we will address many common discomforts of pregnancy including: anxiety/depression, muscle aches, joint pain, and more. Prenatal massage can also help improve labor outcomes and newborn health!
Postpartum
is massage after you have given birth, usually within 6 weeks. Postpartum massage is just as important and beneficial as prenatal massage for your adjustments after pregnancy. As well as the many benefits of bodywork, postpartum massage can also help with hormone regulation, reduced swelling, improved breastfeeding, and assist in healing.
What to expect:
Your therapist will discuss your pregnancy/postpartum details with you before your massage begins to adjust the table and pillows accordingly. Pillows, towels, breast pillows, wedges, etc. are usually used to let you relax comfortably while accommodating your body at each stage of your pregnancy. Your therapist might use different positions and pressure to help ensure a safe and full body massage.
