Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
is a gentle, hands-on approach that works with both the craniosacral system (the brain, spinal cord, and cerebrospinal fluid) and the fascial system (the connective tissue web that surrounds every muscle, bone, and organ). This method combines techniques from Craniosacral Therapy and Myofascial Release to support the body in releasing strain in the fascial system.
CFT can help relieve or improve:
• Headaches and migraines
• TMJ or jaw tension
• Concussion recovery
• Sinus or airway issues
• Neck, back, or hip pain
• Anxiety, stress, or overwhelm
• Whiplash or scar tissue tension
What to expect:
Your therapist will begin by gently assessing the rhythm and movement of your craniosacral and fascial systems, using light touch on the head, sacrum, or other parts of the body. As restrictions are located, gentle sustained pressure or subtle movements are used to encourage release.
During the session, your body may naturally begin to move or “unwind” — following its own innate wisdom. Each session is done fully clothed either lying down or siting. Many people experience these sessions as deeply restorative.
